Frequently asked questions

What should a fabric RFQ include?

State fibre composition, construction, usable width, mass per area, finish, colour, performance tests, quantity and roll-packing requirements.

How is colour controlled?

Use an agreed colour reference or approved sample and state the acceptable shade variation and lot-matching requirement.

Why identify the end use?

Garment, upholstery, industrial and protective applications need different construction and performance, so end use helps suppliers assess suitability.
