How the programme works
Duara Group's corporate responsibility work is run through the divisions rather than beside them: the technology division equips schools, the supply division sources what institutions cannot easily buy, and the audiovisual division supports community and educational events.
Technology for education
Computer laboratories, teaching hardware, projectors, networking and ICT equipment for schools, colleges and training institutions, supplied at cost or subsidised depending on the engagement.
Education technologyWorking with institutions
We work directly with the school, college or institution rather than through intermediaries, so what is delivered matches what the classroom actually needs and the equipment has somewhere to be maintained.

Equipment without support becomes equipment in a store room. Installation, configuration and ongoing technical support are part of how these engagements are scoped.

Duara Audiovisual supports school, university and community events with sound, lighting and technical crew.
School and university eventsFrequently asked questions
What is Duara Group's CSR focus?
Technology for education. The group's technology division supplies computer laboratories, teaching hardware and ICT equipment to schools, colleges and training institutions, with installation and support included rather than left to the institution.
Can our school apply for support?
Yes. Contact us with the institution's name, location, what is needed and how it would be used. Each engagement is assessed individually; we do not publish a fixed programme or funding pool.
Do you only support schools in Kenya?
The programme is centred on Kenya, where the group is based and where equipment can be installed and supported properly. Requests from elsewhere in the region are considered case by case.
Does Duara donate equipment or sell it at a discount?
It depends on the engagement, the institution and the equipment involved. That is settled during the discussion rather than assumed in advance.
